Newman, Architect
Wadia
Newman has traveled from the United States to Borneo, studying
the great architectural masterpieces of the world. She has acquired
a broad knowledge of the evolution of architectual styles and
their significance historically and culturally.
She is a Kentucky native, who returned to Louisville in 1993
after attending University of Kentucky, Arizona State University,
and living and successfully practicing architecture in Phoenix,
Arizona, and San Diego, California. Inspired by Kentucky's rich
architectural heritage, she began to draw and document historic
buildings in the state.
Her goal as an artist of architecture is to create drawings
that communicate the visual beauty and artistry of the historic
architecture.
