(1959-1984)
Named after the founder of the Ursuline Sisters, Angela Merici High School provided a Catholic education for young women from 1959-1984. The Ursuline Sisters founded and operated this school in the South End of Louisville until September 1984, when the school merged with the neighboring Bishop David High School for young men. Now, the two operate together as Holy Cross High School, a co-educational Catholic school.
