Brescia Hall, 1939

Brescia Hall, on the Ursuline Campus in Louisville Kentucky, is the home of levels 5 through 8 at Sacred Heart Model School, a private co-educational school that is a member of Ursuline Campus Schools and is sponsored by the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville.

The building was constructed in 1939 as a science building for Ursuline College, an undergraduate women's college. The name Brescia is in honor of the founder of the Ursuline Sisters, Saint Angela Merici, whose enduring work took its strong roots in 1535 in the Italian city of Brescia.
