The Castle at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens
The Castle was built as a pool house in the 1950’s by Theodore Klein, one of the leaders in the regional nursery industry. The former Klein nursery, farm and home place now operates as a botanical garden for the greater Louisville, Ky. community.
Yew Dell Botanical Gardens is a nationally-recognized center of gardening and sustainable horticulture that offers extensive display gardens, a diverse slate of educational programs, family-oriented community events, ongoing garden plant research, and a wide range of private event facilities. Yew Dell is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a Preservation Project of the Garden Conservancy, a national non-profit dedicated to preserving the Nation's most exceptional gardens. www.yewdellgardens.org
